25 Batches of Alumni’ Getting Together in SWPU on Two Traditional Festivals
During Mid-autumn day and National day, 25 batches of alumni of SWPU had their reunions at their Alma Mater, and a variety of activities were held for schoolfellows to chat with their old friends. Through donating and sending greetings, they showed their respects and expressed their gratitude to SWPU.
During their stay in SWPU, the schoolfellows visited the Museum of History, enjoyed a nice meal at dining hall and watched a movie before the screen outside Boxue Teaching Building to relive their previous school life. They extended their love and faith to the poor students and supported SWPU’s extracurricular scientific projects by donating to Education Development Foundation. Moreover, they signed their names on the signature wall to express their blessings to SWPU for a more glorious future.
Sun Yiping, Secretary of the Party Committee, Zhao Jinzhou, principal of SWPU, He Sha, Deputy Department director investigator and some leaders as well as teachers gave a warm welcome to the schoolfellows. They expressed appreciation for their support of the school reform, introduced the current reform policies and showed our determination to build a century-old famous university in China. Zhao hoped that the alumni can give more care and support to SWPU and make more contributions to the society so as to spread the spirit and reputation of SWPU.
During these days, some other schoolfellows also took their spouses and children back to SWPU. One of them said :“we would like our kids to inherit and carry forward the glorious traditions of SWPU”
25批次校友“双节”相聚母校
2015年中秋和国庆双节期间，红宝石官方网站hbs123校友共25批次800余人团聚在母校，举办各种形式的校友活动重叙故情，通过捐赠、送祝福等方式感恩回馈母校。
活动期间，校友们参观校史馆，在食堂就餐，观看坝坝电影等重温石大校园生活。重返母校的校友为81级、86级、91级、01级、02级，校友们通过教育发展基金会传递爱心，以捐赠支持母校课外科技活动开展和对优秀贫困生的资助。在签名墙上校友们表达了对母校的美好祝福，衷心祝愿母校更加辉煌。
校党委书记孙一平、校长赵金洲、副厅级调研员何沙等领导及各负责人、部分教师对校友们表示热烈欢迎，对校友们以实际行动支持母校改革表示感谢，并介绍了学校改革现状和建设百年名校的宏伟目标。赵金洲寄语广大校友，热爱母校，支持母校，宣传母校，立足母校多做贡献，彰显西南石大精神，扩大母校社会声誉。
据了解，“双节”期间，部分校友偕同爱人、孩子一起返校参加活动，他们说：“我们要把母校的光荣传统，在我们的后代身上得以传承并且发扬光大。”

School of Geoscience and Technology Held Summary Conference of Summer Social Practice
On October 9th, school of Geoscience and Technology held 2015 Summary Conference of Summer Social Practice at the Mingbian Building. The summary conference mainly involved the arrangements, contents and summaries of the social practice teams. All together ten teams participated in the fierce competition. A lovely panda in the presentation from the team of ‘Touch the Nature’ caught the audience’s attention. During the break, two students sang a song with the guitar and made the summary conference even more exciting.
Fan Qiangdong, Vice Chairman of School Party, summarized this conference with his objective evaluation and pointed out the shortcomings and advantages. He hoped that students should improve their humanities accomplishment and personal abilities, learn to do independent research, hold a right attitude about studying their majors and make a good plan of their future careers.
In the end, the ”Dream Starter” team and the “Touch the Nature” team won the first prize while other teams got the second and third prize respectively.
地科院举行2015年暑期社会实践报告大会决赛
10月9日晚，地科院在明辨楼举行了2015年暑期社会实践报告大会决赛。报告主要围绕了实践队的实践安排，实践内容和实践总结。总共10只队伍参加了答辩，场面十分激烈。当‘Touch the Nature’实践队进行报道的时候一只可爱的大熊猫吸引住了观众的眼球。在中场休息的时候，两名同学用吉他伴奏合唱了一首歌，将报告推向高潮。
十支队伍完成报告后，校党委副书记范强东总结了这次报告。他客观的评价了报告，指出了大会的优点及不足。他希望同学们提高人文素养和个人能力，做好职业规划，认真对待专业知识学会自主学习。
最终经过激烈的角逐，启梦实践队和“Touch the Nature”实践队获得了一等奖，其他队伍分别获得了二、三等奖。

SWPU Students Got Good Grades at the 3rd China Polymer Material Innovating and Entrepreneurship Contest for College Students
From September 22nd to 24th, the final contest of the 3rd Chambroad Cup China Polymer Material Innovating and Entrepreneurship Contest for College Students was held in Qingdao. This contest was sponsored by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation and China Education Association of Chemical Industry . Students from School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of SWPU won a second prize and a third prize.
The theme of the competition is “Innovation and Entrepreneurship—New Chemical Materials in China”. It was launched in April and 78 universities from 23 provinces joined the contest with 322 entries. 160 teams entered the preliminary contest after the audition. Till August 20th, 50 national works and two international works got into the final round. Finally 5 first prizes, 10 second prizes and 35 third prizes were awarded to them respectively.
Team “Xi You Ji” and “Grapefruit” Dream Team from SWPU entered the final competition. Team “Xi You Ji” won the second prize and “Grapefruit Dream Team” the third place.
The theme of this competition is to focus on the development of high polymer material, to foster innovating talents and to facilitate the transformation of the Scientific achievements. It is intended to cultivate talents in high polymer material and related professional fields and to select innovative and applied talents.
红宝石官方网站hbs123学生在“第三届中国大学生高分子材料创新创业大赛”中获佳绩
9月22-24日，由中国石油和化学工业联合会、中国化工教育协会主办的“京博杯”第三届中国大学生高分子材料创新创业大赛决赛在青岛举行。红宝石官方网站hbs123化学化工学院学生获得二等奖1项、三等奖1项。
本届大赛的主题是“创新·创业-中国化工新材料”，今年四月启动，全国23个省市区的78所高校报名，参赛作品共322件。经高校海选，共筛选出160支队伍进入初赛。截至8月20日，50见国内作品及2件国际作品进入决赛，最终评选出一等奖5项，二等奖10项，三等奖35项。
红宝石官方网站hbs123“西油记”和“西柚”梦之队两个团队进入决赛，“西油记”获得二等奖，“西柚”梦之队获得三等奖。
本届大赛以“聚焦高分子材料、推动创新人才涌现、促进科研成果转化”为主题，致力于强化国家高分子材料及其相关专业领域人才的培育，是为了选拔创新型人才和应用型人才。

The “Resume Clinic” by the Admission and Employment Office Brought a Hot Scene
“When making a resume, we should take our actual situation into consideration so as to emphasize our advantages and avoid disadvantages. There is never a fixed model to copy.”Advanced career instructor, GCDF Global Career Planner, Luo Xingya advised on the scene.
To give help to the graduates in job market, the Admission and Employment Office set up “Resume Clinic” on the fourth floor of the Student Center in the afternoon on Oct, 9 for the second time in this term. Several professors were invited to offer specific guidance to the resumes of the 2016th graduates and part of the juniors. About 50 students from different schools went there with their resumes, and some of them even came for the second time.
A student said:"This activity was very nice and useful. It truly met our needs.”
According to the manager of the Office, this activity will be held regularly from 5:00pm-6:00pm every Wednesday on the fourth floor of the Student Center to meet the needs of the students in the coming job-hunting season.
招就处“简历门诊”场面火爆
“简历制作要充分整合自身实际情况，突出优势，合理藏拙，没有一成不变的模板可以使用。”在招就处（大学生职业规划与就业指导中心）开展的“简历门诊”现场咨询活动现场，高级职业指导师、GCDF全球职业规划师罗兴娅老师给学生们提出了这样的建议。
为助力新一轮毕业季，10月9日下午，招就处（大学生职业规划与就业指导中心）在学生活动中心4楼大厅开展了本学期第二次“简历门诊”现场咨询活动。活动现场，招就处请来专业的老师为2016届毕业生和部分大三同学进行了详细的简历指导。有来自多个学院的近50名同学带着自己的简历前来“问诊”，有些同学已经是第二次来了。
一名前来咨询的毕业生说，这样的活动很贴心，实用性很强，真正的做到了我们的心坎上。
据招就处相关负责人介绍，针对秋季学期招聘单位多，学生需求多的情况，招就处会定期于每周三下午5-6点在学生活动中心4楼大厅开展此项活动。

The journalist of China Youth News reported that the latest Memory of The World Register in 2015 was published on the official website by the UNESCO, whose headquarters is in Paris. Nanjing Massacre, submitted by China, was one of the 47 items on the list, but the other file Comfort Women, also submitted by China, was not admitted.
The 12th International Advisory Committee of Memory of the World was held in Abu Dhabi UAE from 4 to 6 of this month. The members evaluated 90 items of the World Memory Heritage from all over the world, including the files of Nanjing Massacre and Comfort Women from China.
Three representatives from China joined in this conference. They are Li Minghua from the State Archives Bureau, Zhu Chengshan from Memorial Hall, and professor Su Zhiniang from Shanghai Normal University.
UNESCO said in the brief introduction that the files of Nanjing Massacre consists of 3 parts. The first part is about the massacre (1937-1938), the second part is the documents about the investigations and trials of war criminal made by the military court of China after the war (1945-1947), and the third part is the documents from the Chinese judicial organizations (1952-1956).
Memory of the Word is a project set up by UNESCO in 1992 to protect documents and literature. It is aimed at saving the aging and disappearing documents and literature through the best technology and international cooperation to make human's memories more complete. So far hundreds of items have been chosen on the list.
南京大屠杀申遗成功
中国新青年报记者获悉，总部位于巴黎的联合教科文组织在官方网站上公布了2015年最新入选“世界记忆名录”的项目名单，在47个入选的项目中，中国申报的南京大屠杀档案榜上有名，同时申报的另一份慰安妇相关资料落选。
据了解，世界记忆工程国际咨询委员会第12次会议4日-6日在阿联酋阿布扎比举行，与会人员在三天内评审全球各国约90项关于世界记忆遗产的提名，其中包括中国申报的南京大屠杀和慰安妇相关资料。
三个中国代表参加了此次会议，国家档案局局长李明华纪念馆馆长朱成山和上海师范大学教授苏智良。
联合国教科文组织在简要介绍中称，《南京大屠杀档案》由三个部分组成：第一部分关于大屠杀事件（1937-1938），第二部分关于中华民国政府军事法庭在战后调查和审判战犯的文件（1945-1947），第三部分是中国司法机构的文件（1952-1956）
据介绍，世界记忆工程是联合国教科文组织于1992年启动的一个文献保护项目。其目的是对世界范围内正在逐渐老化、消失的文献纪录，通过国际合作与使用最佳技术手段进行拯救，从而使人类的记忆更加完整。迄今，全球已有数百份文献入选名录。
