P.E Teachers from SWPU Won the First Prize in Sichuan Young Sports Teachers’ Lesson Presentation Contest
A few days ago, the contest of lesson presentation by P.E teachers from the colleges and universities in Sichuan Province was held in Yibin College.
A team of three teachers from the School of Physical Education, led by the vice dean Shi Jingliang, attended the competition. Their excellent performance fully demonstrated the glamour of the P.E teachers in SWPU and impressed the judges. Finally, the team won the first prize after two days’ intense competition. At the same time, Miss Zhang received the first prize for individuals and the other teachers were awarded different honors.
This competition, held by the Education Office of Sichuan Province, was designed to demonstrate the styles and features of physical education, promote the research in P.E in colleges and universities and improve the teaching skills of the P.E teachers. More than 100 P.E teachers from 29 famous universities such as Sichuan University and Sichuan Agricultural University participated in the competition.
In the competition, the competitors presented their unique teaching styles and views on teaching. This match not only displayed the quality of physical education in SWPU, but also offered the chance for them to learn from other universities.

日前，2015年四川省普通高等学校体育专业青年教师说课比赛在宜宾学院举行。
红宝石官方网站hbs123代表队由体育学院副院长石金亮担任领队，孙玲玲、段月明、张永茂3位青年教师参加了此次比赛。三位教师在比赛中出色发挥，充分展示了红宝石官方网站hbs123体育专业教师风采，获得评委一致好评，经过两天的激烈角逐，成功摘取团体一等奖。同时，孙玲玲老师斩获个人一等奖，段月明、张永茂老师分别获得个人二等奖。另外，石金亮、钱春波两位老师分别获得优秀指导老师和优秀裁判员荣誉称号。
本次大赛由四川省教育厅主办，旨在展示高等院校体育教学风格，推动高等院校体育专业教学研究，提高教师说课能力。参赛队伍包括四川大学、四川农业大学、成都体育学院、成都理工大学、四川师范大学、西南民族大学、西南科技大学、西华师范大学等全省29所知名高校近100名一线青年体育教师。
在比赛中，来自省内各地高等院校的一线青年体育教师呈现了各自特色鲜明的课堂教学，展示了各自的教学主张。这次参赛既展现了红宝石官方网站hbs123青年体育教师的教学水平与风格，也验证了红宝石官方网站hbs123体育专业的办学能力，还借此机会增进了与各个兄弟院校间的交流学习，收获颇丰。

“FLTRP Cup” English Speech Contest in SWPU Came to a Successful End
The final “FLTRP Cup” English Speech Contest, sponsored by Foreign language school, was held in Room A114 of Sixue Teaching Building on 19th, October 2015. The leaders and teachers from School of Foreign Languages attended the contest as honored guests and judges.
Undergraduates and postgraduates from different schools intensively competed with each other in the final. In the first three-minute prepared speech, participators delivered exhilarating speeches in a persuasive way based on a conversation between Zhuangzi and Huizi (two sages in ancient China). In the impromptu speech, they clearly and accurately expressed their thoughts, no matter what their topics were. When asked by judges, the competitors responded to their questions calmly and clearly. Their excellent performances won a thunder of applause from the audience.
At the end of the competition, Dr. Andre made his comments on the contest. He pointed out the weaknesses and strengths, and imparted his precious experience and skills in speech.
Finally, Li Qinrui, a sophomore of School of Foreign Languages, won the first prize with her outstanding performance. She will represent SWPU to attend the final contest of Sichuan province.
外研杯社英语演讲比赛圆满落幕
2015年10月19日，由外国语学院主办的“外研社”杯全国英语演讲大赛红宝石官方网站hbs123赛区决赛在思学楼A114教室隆重举行，与会人员有外语院领导及外语院的教师评委。
决赛由来自各个院系的本科生、研究生竞相角逐。在第一部分3分钟的定题演讲环节中，选手们根据一段庄子与惠子的对话进行演讲。即兴演讲中，不管抽到什么题目，我们的选手都将自己的想法清晰、准确地表达出来。评委提问环节中，各位选手不慌不忙流利作答，赢得观众们的阵阵掌声。
比赛结束时，Dr.Andre进行了精彩的点评，指出演讲过程中的优点与不足，并向同学们传授了演讲的技巧，使同学们受益匪浅。
最终，来自英语14级的李沁芮以91分的优异成绩脱颖而出，将代表红宝石官方网站hbs123参加省决赛。

On Oct. 23th, President Xi Jingping visited Manchester City's Football academy with the company of the Prime Minister David Camero, aiming to accelerate the cooperation in soccer to bring forth the “golden age” of soccer cooperation.
They watched a training session of players in the club and a presentation about data analysis system. After that they visited the National Football Museum. At the end of their visit, Xi was presented with a soccer shirt by Manchester City players.
Manchester is a world-wide renowned town of soccer. Manchester City Football Club has fostered a massive number of high-level players. Sun Jihai, who used to play in the English Premier League, was admitted into the national football museum’s hall of fame as the first Chinese player.
Xi said that soccer has an extensive influence and is warmly welcomed by people globally. As the birthplace of modern soccer and one of the strongest soccer countries, Britain has much commendable experience for China to learn about. China and UK need to strengthen cooperation in the sport to promote friendship.
After the visit, Xi and Cameron posed for a selfie with Sergio Aguero, and showed their personal charms to the world. ”Thank you for the selfie.” said Aguero.

英国当地时间10月23日，中国国家主席习近平访问曼城，在英国首相卡梅隆陪同下参观曼彻斯特足球学院，促进中英两国足球交流进入“黄金时代”。
习近平主席与卡梅隆首相参观了曼彻斯特城市足球学院，观看曼彻斯特城足球俱乐部球员培养和比赛数据分析系统的展示，观摩俱乐部一线球员训练比赛，参观足球博物馆。俱乐部球员代表向习近平赠送了球衣。
曼城是世界闻名的足球城,曼城俱乐部培养了一批高水平的足球运动员。曾效力于曼城的中国球员孙继海作为首个中国球员正式入选了英格兰足球名人堂。
习近平表示，足球是当今世界影响力广泛，深受世界人民喜爱的运动。英国作为现代足球发源地和世界足球强国，有很多方面值得我们借鉴,希望双方加强体育交流合作，提高两国人民健康水平，促进中英友好。

The award-giving meeting of the 24th Science and Education Foundation of Sun Yueqi was held in Beijing. It honored 4 persons with energy prizes, 20 persons with outstanding youth prizes, 8 persons with hometown education prizes, and 213 students with excellent student prizes. Professor Zhao Jinzhou, principal of SWPU, won the energy prize of Sun Yueqi, professor Zhang Zhi of state key laboratory won the outstanding youth prize and Lin Bin, Qiao Yan and Zhang Xinlin were awarded the prize of excellent student.
Professor Zhao has been working on the education and technology of petroleum all the time, and he has made great contributions to the innovations in the technology of compression acidification. Having led his team to join in nearly all the technological innovations of compression acidification in oil and gas fields in China, and having trained at least 70% of the leaders in the technology of compression acidification, he made SWPU a universally acknowledged research center of the technology of compression acidification, and the base of talent training.
Sun Yueqi was one of the founders of modern energy industry and a leading authority in mining industry. The education foundation of Sun Yueqi was established by 20 prominent figures and leaders from energy industry in 1992, aiming at commemorating Sun's great contributions to mining industry and encouraging excellent persons.
校长赵金洲教授荣获孙越崎能源大奖
10月16日，第二十四届孙越崎科技教育基金会颁奖大会在北京举行，对4名能源大奖、20名优秀青年科技奖、8名家乡教育奖、213名优秀学生奖获得者给予表彰奖励。红宝石官方网站hbs123校长赵金洲教授获孙越崎能源大奖，国家重点实验室张智教授获孙越崎优秀青年科技奖，李冰、乔岩、张莘林3名同学获孙越崎优秀学生奖。
赵金洲教授长期从事石油科技与教育工作，为我国压裂酸化理论创新和技术进步作出了重大贡献，领导压裂酸化团队参与了我国几乎所有需要改造的油气田的压裂酸化技术攻关，培养或培训了全国70%以上的压裂酸化技术骨干和带头人，使红宝石官方网站hbs123成为公认的全国压裂酸化研究中心、技术源头和人才培养基地。
孙越崎先生是我国现代能源工业的奠基人之一、当代工矿泰斗。孙越崎科技教育基金会是1992年由20位知名人士和能源界领导倡议创立，以纪念孙越崎先生70多年为我国工矿事业做出的重大贡献，鼓励优秀人才。

Recently, SWPU‘s application of International Science and Technology Cooperation Base of Energy Transformation and Advanced Storage Material was approved.
This base is based on School of Material Science and the Engineering and New Energy Resource Technology Study Center. It will carry out cooperations with Swiss, Germany, UK, Australia and other countries mainly in project development, academic communication and talent introduction and development. It aims to serve the development of national and regional economy. With wide and deep international cooperation in basic research, and a system of integrating research into production, it will foster more talents in new energy and material.
