Hunger strike to Occupy Central has stopped
After a girl student accepted the doctor's advice to stop her fast on the afternoon of December 5th, the Hunger Strike’s sponsors stopped this event entirely the next day.
President of the Legislative Council of the HKSARL(Hong Kong Special Administrative Region) Zeng Yuhong said in his interview that he sincerely hoped that this activity would end soon.
Zeng also recommended that any kind of political reform debates should be done on the fundamentals of law, ”If they continue to dismiss the basic laws, they would never get results by this way, so I sincerely hope that they can stop the Hunger Strike as soon as possible.”
Chen Yongqi, a Standing Committee member of the CPPCC(Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference) also appealed to students who took part in this event to cherish their health, as well as to take food when they felt unwell.
He believed that a resumption of political reform would be impossible because the political reform has already been carried out two - fifths of the whole movement.
Meanwhile, Chen pointed out that if the Occupy Central caused a tragic ending, HK would be the really biggest loser.
“占中”绝食已停止
继5日傍晚一位女学生接受医生建议停止绝食之后，绝食行动发起人6日中午也已停止绝食。
香港特别行政区立法会主席曾钰成接受媒体采访时表示，希望绝食行动尽快结束。
曾钰成说，任何政改讨论一定要在法律基础上进行，“如果他们坚持不理会基本法，无可能得到任何结果，所以我希望他们尽快结束绝食行动”。
全国政协常委陈永棋同日也呼吁参与绝食行动的学生要珍惜健康，感到不适就应进食。他认为，有组织者要求“重启政改”是无可能的，因为已经行了政改“五步曲”的两步。
同时陈永棋指出，假如"占中"行动酿成悲剧，全香港都是输家。

Mexico Paying Huge Compensation for Revoking Contract
According to the report of VOR (Voice of Russia), on December 2nd, Mexico compensated China by 160 million dollars for abolishing the current contract on the high-speed rail. In accordance with the contract, led by China Railway, China and Mexico were jointly empowered to establish the first stunning high speed railway in Latin America, one project of high-speed trains which was originally scheduled to accomplish by the end of 2017.
On the basis of the bidding result, China and Mexico combo won the bidding on November 3rd. Nevertheless beyond all the expectations, within the matters of a few days, Mexico withdrew the bidding result and released new bidding surprisingly. In regard to the unexpected revocation, Transport Ministry of Mexico indicated that to guarantee the legitimacy of the bidding as well as avert any transparent problems, they made the decision to cancel the contract.
墨西哥因取消高铁合同向中方支付1600万美元赔偿
据俄罗斯之声报道，2日，墨西哥因取消高铁合同向中方支付了1600万美元的赔偿费。根据合同，以中铁公司牵头的中墨联合竞标体获权在拉美建造首条高速铁路。这是本应于2017年年底前交付的墨西哥—克雷塔罗线上的高铁火车项目。
根据竞标结果，11月3日由中国铁建牵头的国际联合体中标墨西哥城至克雷塔罗高速铁路项目。但没过几天，墨西哥撤消了竞标结果并宣布进行新 的竞标。据墨西哥交通部称，取消合同是为了“保证竞标的合法性，避免任何出现任何透明性的问题”。

The Gubkin Russian State University Delegation Visited SWPU
On December 2nd, the deputy Predident, Streletskayage Vlada, with 15 other people of the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas visited SWPU. The vice-principle, Zhang Liehui, and the directors of school of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering, Geosciences and Technology as well as International Cooperation and Exchanges Department met with them. Both sides has reached a consensus on studying abroad、exchanging teachers and any other vital respects. Moreover, a memorandum of understanding was signed then.
Streletskaya Vlada briefly introduced the developing actuality of the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas. She said that the university was not only the major Russian oil industry of colleges, but also was the principle research center and training base in the oil and gas fields. Meanwhile, she said it was her honor to visit SWPU and believed that the cooperation would promote common development between the two universities.
Zhang Liehui said:"Both Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas and SWPU devote to train talents for the sake of petroleum and petrochemical fields. In the hope that the cooperation this time will promote colleges' all-round effective collaboration in size and quality under the support of our governments and businesses."
俄罗斯国立古勃金石油天然气大学代表团来访
12月2日，俄罗斯国立古勃金石油天然气大学副校长 Streletskaya Vlada一行15人来校进行学术访问。副校长张烈辉及石工院、地科院、国际合作与交流处负责人参加了会见。双方就学生赴俄留学，教师互访等问题达成共识，并签订了合作备忘录。
Streletskaya Vlada对俄罗斯国立古勃金石油天然气大学的发展现状进行了简要介绍并谈到，俄罗斯国立古勃金石油天然气大学不仅是俄罗斯最主要的石油行业高等院校，也是石油天然气领域主要科研中心和培训基地。同时表示，能够对红宝石官方网站hbs123这所著名的石油高校进行访问感到十分荣幸，相信通过合作能够促进两所学校的共同发展。
张烈辉说："红宝石官方网站hbs123和古勃金石油天然气大学都致力于为石油石化领域培养专业人才，希望在两国政府和企业的支持下，两校的合作能够在规模和质量上取得全面的提升。"

Zhou Yongkang's Arrest
Ex-security chief Zhou Yongkang was arrested and expelled from the Communist Party on December 6th. Zhou became the most senior official to be arrested in China's anti-graft campaign. He was the head of China's Ministry of Public Security before he retired two years ago. After his arrest, many of his former associates and relatives also face corruption investigation. Zhou's arrest reflected President Xi Jinping's "courage" to punish corrupt officials regardless of their rank and power.
Meanwhile, several law experts were calling for an enhanced legal system to prevent corruption. Zhou Shuzhen, a professor in Renmin University of China, said that Zhou's case occurred because the legal system in the country was not yet perfect. She observed that a small number of high-ranking officials are still not administering their power according to law and it is an urgent task to raise the awareness of law among these officials". This case indicated that Everyone is equal before the law, and there is no green light on the road of anti-corruption
周永康违法违纪被捕
原政治局常委、原政法委书记周永康于十二月六日被开除党籍并因涉嫌犯罪予以逮捕。他成为中共历史上因为腐败案而被移送司法机关依法处理的最高官员。两年前他还担任过中国公安部部长。周永康被捕后，与他有关联的官员及领导也面临着反腐的调查。此次事件充分体现了习近平主席推进反腐的决心。
与此同时不少法律学者表示出了应进一步完善法律制度的期望。中国人民大学教授周淑真说，周永康滥用权力、知法犯法的案件提醒了我们法制还不够完善。她表示仍存在一小部分高官违法使用权力，而此次事件正好对各级干部起到了重要的警示作用。周永康一案表明在法律面前人人平等，反腐没有禁区。

A Campaign to take care of AIDS Patients In order to strengthen teachers and students’ correct understanding of AIDS and to appeal to the public to care AIDS. On December1st, SWPU held an event about caring AIDS patients.
The activity has been strongly supported with the school infirmary and the CDC of Xindu District. In addition to set the propaganda station in the school, volunteers and professional medical staffs also advertised the route of transmission, prevention measures and other knowledge about AIDS in Ficus Virens Square, to call people from all walks of life for attention, understanding and caring of AIDS patients.
"As of the end of October, there are more than 100 students who have infected with AIDS have reported in 10 regions. The problem of preventing youth AIDS has become the most important thing among the prevention work in China." The director of school hospital Zhang Jihong said, "And to expand the coverage of public education is the key to attaching public’s importance to prevent AIDS, so it can nip in the bud."
The volunteers of the activity not only propagandized the prevention knowledge of AIDS, but also gave out the red ribbons to the crowd to call their attention to AIDS, to make them understand and take care of HIV infected people and to achieve "zero" generation with AIDS.
给艾滋一份关爱 让关艾零距离——红宝石官方网站hbs123开展关艾宣传活动
为加强全校师生对艾滋病的正确认识，呼吁广大师生及社会各界关心艾滋病群体，12月1日，红宝石官方网站hbs123开展了关艾宣传活动。
活动得到了校医院、新都区疾病预防控制中心的大力支持，除了在校内设置宣传点之外，志愿者和专业医护人员还前往新都区黄桷树广场宣传艾滋病传播途径、预防措施等知识，呼吁各界人士关注、理解、关爱艾滋病患者。
“截止今年十月底，全国已有十个地区报告学生艾滋病感染者超过百人。青年艾滋病的预防问题，已成为我国防艾工作的重中之重。”校医院院长张继红说，“扩大宣传教育覆盖面是防艾工作的关键，让更多的人来了解艾滋病及艾滋病的预防，做到防患于未然。”
志愿者们在活动中除了宣传防艾知识，还向过往的人群分发红丝带，呼吁人们关注艾滋病，去理解并关心艾滋病病毒感染者，实现“零”艾滋的一代。
