Li Keqiang Signed 8 Billion Euros Contract With Italy
President of the State Council of China Li Keqiang paid an official visit to Italy on Oct.14th. An 8 billion Euros economic contract brought by Li Keqiang to Italy is a long-left help for the Italian economy.
Le Keqiang held talks with Matteo Renzi, President of Italy, in Roma on Oct.14th. Le Keqiang indicated that the cooperation between our two countries based on a solid subtraction. Since 2004, the comprehensive strategic partnership was built, China and Italy had already under rapid development.
The contract involves energy sources and engineering project etc. At the signing ceremony on Oct.14th, the business representative of China and the tycoon of Italian National Defense Industry------the subsidiary of the Finmeccanica Company, the Augusta Westland Company, signed a 400 million Euros indent of 50 helicopters. Also, a memorandum of understanding for a joint investment project that values 500 million Euros had been signed between China Investment Corporation and Italian National Sovereign Wealth Fund. Not only that, China provided Italian State Power Corporation with a wholesale line of credit.
As to all the contracts between China and Italy, Matteo Renzi bantered that these collaborative projects are just an appetizer and the prospect for cooperation between two countries is still very spacious.
李克强赴意签80亿欧元大单
中国国务院总理李克强14日正式访问意大利。李克强此行为意大利带来总额80亿欧元的经贸大单，对该国的经济来说犹如“久旱逢甘霖”。
李克强14日在罗马与意大利总统伦齐举行会谈，李克强表示，两国关系与合作基础深厚，自2004年建立全面战略伙伴关系以来，中意实际上已经进入“发展快车道”。
中意代表签署金额为80亿欧元的合作大单，合作领域涉及能源、工程项目等。在14日的签约仪式上，中方商业代表和意大利国防工业巨头------梅芬卡尼卡集团子公司阿古斯塔·韦斯特兰签下4亿欧元订单，向后者订购50架直升机；中国投资有限责任公司就一项涉及金额5亿欧元的联合投资项目和意大利国家主权财富基金签下谅解备忘录。此外，中方还向意大利国家电力公司提供大额信贷额度。
对于中意两国签下的一系列大单，意大利总理伦齐打趣说，这些合作项目只不过是一道开胃小菜，两国未来的合作前景还很宽阔。

Francis Martin from Association of Professors in Total Gave Course in SWPU
Professor Francis Martin, hailing from Association of Professors in Total, was invited to address a course for 39 students from the International Class in Petroleum Engineering Institute from October 13th to 17th.
Before the course began, a simple opening ceremony was held at 8:30 on Oct.13th. Present at the meeting were Vice Director Dai Lei from Department of International Cooperation and Exchange and Vice President Liang Guangchuan from Petroleum Engineering Institute. They expressed congratulations to the well-selected students and paid thanks to Professor Francis. Later, Guo Wenying, who was in charge of the program, formally introduced Professor Francis and made a brief introduction about related messages and requirements of the training program. The course focused on Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FRSO Functions) which belongs to the up-to-date field of Petroleum Engineering. After the course, all the students had the final test, and the academically qualified ones were able to get a certification from both Total and SWPU, which could lay a solid foundation for their job-hunting in Total or other petroleum corporations.
In recent years, SWPU has been enhancing communication and cooperation with Total. Every year, they send experts to discourse on the up-to-date specialized knowledge for our students who major in Petroleum Engineering so as to broaden their international visions and boost the international academic atmosphere of SWPU.
法国道达尔公司教授协会Francis Martin来校讲学
10月13日至17日，法国道达尔公司教授协会Francis Martin教授应邀为红宝石官方网站hbs123石油工程学院国际班的39名学生进行讲学。
13日早上8点半，课程开始之前首先举行了简单的开班仪式。国际合作与交流处副处长戴磊和石油与天然气工程学院副院长梁光川出席仪式并简单致辞，二位对经过择优选拔来参加该项目的学生表达了祝贺并对道达尔公司Francis Martin教授来校讲学表达了感谢。之后，项目负责人郭文英老师向国际班全体学生正式介绍了Francis Martin教授，并对该培训项目的相关情况和要求做了简短说明。此次培训课程内容为“海洋浮式生产储存卸载系统（FPSO Functions）”，该课程属于石油工程领域较前沿的知识范畴。课程结束后，参加课程培训的全体学生参加了结业考试，成绩合格者将获得由道达尔公司和红宝石官方网站hbs123共同颁发的结业证书，这将为他们今后在道达尔公司或其它石油企业寻找就业机会增加重要筹码。
近年来，红宝石官方网站hbs123与法国道达尔公司有着密切的交流与联系，道达尔公司每年都会选派专家来校讲学，为红宝石官方网站hbs123石油工程专业的学生介绍石油领域的专业前沿知识，以拓展学生的国际化视野，同时增进红宝石官方网站hbs123的国际化学术氛围。

Fourth Plenum of 18th CPC Central Committee Opened
The fourth plenum of the 18th Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee kicked off in the Great Hall of the People from October 18th to 28th. Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, presided over this significant session. The plenum discussed the rule of law, aiming to speed up the construction of governance by adopting law from the top level and improving the system to promote social justice of the country.
Experts noted that this has been the first time for a CPC session to center on the rule of law, which would be the key to realizing the party's goal to promote the modernization of China's governing system. This measure will ensure human rights for common people, which will help the police and judicial system to punish criminals and establish a sound legal system in the country. Facing a painful economic transition, promoting rule of law has raised high hopes of an orderly and effective market that might offer new opportunities for the Chinese economy. Rule of law will play an ever more prominent and important role in the overall work of the Party and the government.
第十八届四中全会在京召开
中国共产党第十八届四中全会于10月20日至23日在人民大会堂成功召开。由中共总书记习近平主持本次重要会议。这次四中全会上中共中央委员会主要讨论了法治问题,旨在通过依法治理和改善制度来加快完善政府的顶层设计。
专家指出,这是中国共产党第一次将会议主题定为依法治国,这将是党实现中国管理系统现代化的关键。法治将保证普通民众的人权,帮助警察与司法来惩治罪犯并建立秩序。同时在面临经济转型的艰难时期,依法治国的提出将为市场的有序性及高效性带来转变,这很可能会为中国经济提供新的机遇。今后法制将在整个党和政府的工作中发挥更加突出和重要的作用。

The Implementation of Professional Tutorial System
To improve the professional qualities and cultivate all-round undergraduates, the Materials College convened a meeting. Some leaders attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Party Secretary Zhen Shiwen laid great importance on the professional tutorial system. According to the development of the Materials College and the need of students’ growth, Deputy Secretary Dai Zhi stressed the significance of professional tutors and pointed out their main responsibilities.
Mr. Dai emphasized that professional instructors are of vital significance in the cultivation of talents, and professional tutors should focus on professional instructions and academic guidance. He also introduced the concept of students’ work, ideas and goals to professional tutors. He suggested professional instructors and students’ working teams have a mutual cooperation. Better to pave the way for the students to be successful.
At the end of the meeting, to make the students’ work carry on well in the future and for the improvement of the quality of the talents，professional tutors said they would be willing to help students grow and establish a correct attitude towards life values with their own experiences and comprehensive understanding of students.
材料院在低年级实施专业导师制
为切实加强本科生的专业 认知、学业规划、科研实践等工作的引导，落实学校深化改革的决定，稳步提高人才培养质量，材料院召开了本学期专业导师工作会议，启动实施低年级专业导师制，各领导出席了会议。
会上，院党委书记郑世文首先就学院实行专业导师制给予了高度的重视与肯定。他说，社会环境变化，教育事业新发展，学校深化改革要求，学生群体新特征，对学生培养及学生工作提出了新挑战和新任务，有必要实施专业导师制。随后，戴志根据学院发展总体规划与学生成长需求，强调专业导师在人才培养中的迫切需要与重要地位。
戴志明指出专业指导与学业指导是专业导师的主要工作职责，帮助学生树立理想、明确目标、制定规划、勤奋成才是专业导师的工作重心所在。同时，他还给专业导师介绍了院学生工作理念、思路、目标及体系等。此外，戴志强调专业导师和学工队应密切联系，相互协作，共同成为学生道德品行的引导者、文化知识的传授者、健康生活的指导者、专业学习的导航者，促进学生工作内涵式发展，更好地为学生成人成才服务和铺路。
会议最后，专业导师纷纷表示愿意以个人的成长经历和阅历来教育学生，鼓励学生，感召学生，并主动思考，积极工作，全面了解学生，关心学生，引导学生，帮助他们树立正确的人生观、价值观和确立发展目标与方向，为学院今后学生工作的顺利开展与人才质量的稳步提升贡献新的力量。
