内容简介:

本次翻译实践报告的翻译材料来自成都思译翻译有限公司的实际项目,原材料为中石油阿姆河第二天然气处理厂管理规定内容。文件由中方承包商于2021年用中文起草,目的是总结和完善阿姆河第二天然气处理厂使用的各种规章制度。译者在思译公司实习期间所分配到的翻译任务是翻译该文件的第98-133页,共计一万六千余字。

此部分材料包含《安全生产责任制》及《安全教育管理规定》两部分。《安全生产责任制》对阿姆河第二天然气处理厂内的人员结构进行了详细划分,并规定了各管理人员的安全职责。《安全教育管理规定》介绍了处理厂内需要进行安全教育培训的对象及培训内容、培训方式以及培训时间进行了明确要求,因此可以确保处理厂内所有安全生产相关的管理及工作人员在上岗之前都经过了严格且合格的安全培训,安全生产得到了有效保障。


译文修改:

例1:

ST: 发生事故时应及时赶赴现场组织救援,按“四不放过”的原则组织对主管范围内事故的调查处理。

ST: 做到“五个清楚”,具体为:清楚本岗位的职责、清楚本岗位操作程序、清楚身边的危险源、清楚身边的隐患及控制措施、清楚应急预案。

研讨反思:

“忠实”是翻译过程中要遵守的最基本的规则,但在进行汉英翻译的过程中也要注意两种语言以及两种文化之间的差别,并要适时进行“转换”。这种“转换”不仅是字面上简单的词语转换,也是文化以及思维的“转换”。

比如在例1中,对“四不放过”的展开内容翻译:“有关人员未受到教育不放过”。在TT1中将“教育”简单地译为educate是完全错误的,ST中的“教育”是指“接受批评警告”之意,而educate一词指的是读书上学所受的教育,所以在TT2中将其改为“warn”。

在例2和例5中,译者均采取的省译的翻译技巧。在汉语中,我们常常会在语句的最后加上总结概括性的词组,而语句前面的内容已经充分说明了最后的概括性词组的含义,所以在例2以及例5中,译者选用了省译,删去了“标准化、规范化”以及“文明生产”,使译文更加简练通顺,也更加符合正式文件语句简洁的要求。

在汉译英的过程中,如何将译文处理得更像英语母语者的表达方式是很重要也是有一定难度的一点。在翻译之前要充分理解源语文本所要表达的深层含义,再将其转化为英语文化中的对应内容。此外也要考虑译文的使用场合,注意译文的文体是否符合要求。

在翻译工程管理类相关文本的过程中,可供参考的平行文本不仅包括同类型的管理文本,译者也应拓展查阅相关的法条法规,并总结其中的术语翻译、以及表达方式等,这些内容都有助于提高译文质量。
