The Performance of the Top Two Cola Company Reaches New Low
Coke-Cola and Pepsi remain to be the top two sellers in the carbonated beverage market. However, the performance of these two companies has declined with the emerging healthy drinks. According to the business reports published by Coke-Cola and Pepsi, the sales volume in the last year reached a new low. In the past, after cutting the cost of bottling, both cola enterprises adopted the same widespread pattern, taking on new business like non-carbonated drinks and potato chips. But over-expanded product placement will inevitably increase the difficulty level of the transformation in China for both companies. As for how to reignite the two brands in China, managing the era of post cola properly shall become the latest challenge for Coke-Cola and Pepsi.
As shown in the business report, the net income of Coke-Cola in 2017 is $ 35.41 billion, 15% lower than it in 2016. Meanwhile things are not looking positive for Pepsi either. According to the data, the net margin of Pepsi in 2017 is $4.857 billion, 23.26% lower than it in 2016.
As claimed by the survey, the operating income of Coke-Cola once rose up to $48 billion in 2012, which indicates that the sales amount diminished nearly $13 billion. The Coke-Cola declares that many changes took place in 2016 in company operation. For instance, sales were brought down by allowing cooperating partners with franchise to sell bottled cola, which also has a negative impact on the overall income of the company in 2017.
It is unanimously agreed within the business that the main income of the cola enterprises comes from carbonated drinks, no matter in China or the whole world. The soda industry losing the affection from the customers leads to the decrease in the accelerating rate, becoming the cause of performance being dragged down.

Attention,Scan Code Payment Will be Limited.
A few days ago,the People’s Bank Of China issued the“Notice of the People's Bank of China on Printing and Standardizing Code Payment Services (Trial)”, the “code Payment Security Technical Specifications (Trial)” and “code Payment Terminal Technical Specifications (Trial)”. It will be implemented on April 1st, 2018. The notice set a regulation on code payment that single customer bank or payment institution’s daily transaction amount should not exceed 500 yuan. There will be no limit on dynamic scan code payment.
Nowadays, using WeChat and Alipay scan to pay has already become a common thing in people’s life. Although code payment is convenient, there are still many hidden troubles. Static codes can easily be tampered or altered. They are also easy to carry Trojans or viruses. Their risk prevention capabilities are rated as D-class. Also Code Payment has some problems in the business development of some market institutions, such as disturbing the order of fair competition and inadequate prevention for payment risks.
Many people would ask, after the new regulation implemented can we only spend 500 yuan by WeChat or Alipay scanning to pay in a day? In fact, this is not the case. After the implementation of the new regulations, consumers won’t be affected if they pay a small payment by scanning to pay. For example, if you have a meal of 600 yuan in a restaurant, you may find it difficult to scan static code payments. At this time, you can let the cashier sweep the dynamic bar code generated by the consumer's mobile phone, and this is more secure. According to Yu Lin, deputy secretary-general of the China Payment and Clearing Association, In general, we use Alipay and WeChat to use more than just fingerprints and passwords to ensure payment security. The one-day limit is 5,000 yuan. For consumers, it will not bring any inconvenience.

A great number of people question the quality of online works, but few people are concerned about online writers.
One of the most feared words by network writers is “duan geng,” which means that updates are interrupted and that affects the reader's reading experience.
Many people criticize vulgarity and low quality in the content of Internet literature.
How to judge whether the network literature is positive or negative?
“The works that you write must be accessible to your child, only the positive one lasts long.” “Tang Jia San Shao”(Internet novel writers in mainland China as well as the role model of many internet writers) proposed the standard of online literature, which is the bottom line of network writers.
Statistics show that as of the end of 2016, the scale of China's online literature market has reached 9 billion yuan, and since 2012 the industrial scale has maintained an annual growth rate of more than 20%.
It may not be important for network literature and traditional literature to win or lose. One side is the classic and the other is the market.
The author San Ling Jun Ci observed: "The traditional literature and network literature will be integrated in the future. One day, the current network literature is the traditional literature, and network literature should be encouraged to be the same as other literatures."

Hinglish lessons are being taught in UK colleges for the first time
Hinglish lessons are being taught in UK colleges for the first time to help young Britons develop business in India.
Portsmouth College has introduced a new course for the language, a hybrid of English and Hindi, which has been spoken on both continents since the 17th century. It is widely used today in Indian business, films, music, and advertisements.
Hinglish is a fusion of the two languages which is preferred by India's booming business community, meaning learning it can be suitable for students looking for international opportunities in the world's seventh largest economy, which is growing more rapidly than any other.
Portsmouth College said that Hinglish was the fastest growing language on the South continent.
"Films are being watched by a lot of Indian people and right from the titles to the script, everything is in Hinglish," a teacher of Portsmouth College explained.
James Watters, a department head at the college, said: "It's great to know that our future generation of workers are taking things that are happening around us into account."
He said the course would make them "socially aware and better prepared for situations they may be faced with."
While there is evidence of Hinglish being around since the 17th century, and featuring in poetry in 19th Century, it took off notably as part of popular culture in the 1990s with the rise of music channels like MTV. It is now said to be ubiquitous in Bollywood film.

Qingming Festival is Approaching!
General Office of the State Council of the People's Republic of China reported that the Qingming Festival has three days from 5 April to 7 April this year.
The Qingming Festival, the traditional tomb-sweeping day, falls on one day of April 4 to 6 each year.It is a time for remembering the loved ones who passed away.People visit their ancestors’ graves to sweep away the dirt.A well-known poem written by Du Mu describes a sorrow scene in this day:”Rains fall heavily as QingMing comes, and passers-by with lowered spirits go.”But on the contrary, people usually enjoy hope of spring on this day.For most of people,QingMing Festival is more like a day not to forget their ancestors but to move forward no matter what you will confront.
In this year,The Qingming Festival might be a little different for citizens who live in changsha as it is free to drive on the expressway from the first afternoon till the last day night. The drivers should also pay attention to the condition of the road before setting off to avoid the rush hour and avert the traffic congestion.

Undergraduates, Are You Staying up Again Tonight?
Staying up has become an unavoidable link of the saying “4 years of spoiling life” which is often brought back in students’ mind when speaking of college years. This sub health used to happen among the working class who sometimes work overtime, however, it is already a commonplace in college.
In a research carried out in 10 colleges and universities in Guangzhou college town by some college students which is called “the phenomena about staying up in college students”, we found that staying up occurs in almost every student, many of them do it for entertainment and study initiatively, while quite a few passively. Over 50% of the students stay up 4 times a week, worse still, 20% of them keep staying up every day.
There exists an important realistic basis in this seemingly extremist saying, “You shouldn’t call it college if you haven’t stayed up once there.”, while it speaks a truer fact than “Having a romantic relationship is the compulsory course of college.” Though 60% of the students fall asleep in next day’s classes, 38% of them go through skin problems after staying up, 23% of them skip the classes one or two times, this cannot stop them from continuing this habit. In some students’ eyes, it’s as usual as eating or sleeping so that they don’t consider this as a problem. But in fact, the chain reactions resulted from staying up have developed into a vicious circle, which can lead to the inefficiency in classrooms, the decrease of health index and overtime working to finish the homework on time.
