Hillary Clinton Proclaimed Her Running for the Coming Presidential Election
Recently, Hillary Clinton, former U.S. Secretary of State and the former first lady, declared to run for the 2016 presidential election after her failure in 2008. If she succeeds, she is going to be the first female president in American history and break through the “paramount ceiling” in the American political realm.
On the same day, Hillary unveiled a video lasting approximately 2 minutes, in which she first narrated the inspirational stories of diverse people of different skin colors and different ages, and then she, dressed in a black suit and scarlet blouse and wearing a smile, stated, “American people need a champion everyday, and I want to be the one!”
As the first student to deliver a graduation speech at Wellesley College in 1969, Hillary Clinton has gained increasing popularity in the U.S.A., and she also has stricken out many unprecedented successes in her life: the first female CEO of Wal-Mart, the first former First Lady to run for president, the most “diligent” Secretary of State who has made more visits to other countries than any former Secretary of States. If Hillary can win the election, she will be the first female president to take office at the age of nearly 70.
According to the polls, the support rate for Hillary has outnumbered considerably all the other potential candidates of the Democratic Party, and 81 percent of Democratic constituents show their favor to her.

近日，前国务卿、前第一夫人希拉里·克林顿宣布参加2016年总统大选，继2008年之后再次向白宫发起冲击。如果当选，她将成为美国历史上首位女总统，打破美国政界“最高天花板”。
希拉里当天发表了一段时长2分18秒的视频，在视频讲述多位不同肤色、不同年龄普通人的奋斗故事之后，身着黑色套装、红色衬衣的希拉里略带微笑、自信满满地宣布，“每天美国人都需要一个冠军，我想成为那个冠军”。
自1969年作为第一个在韦尔斯利学院发表毕业演讲的学生走红全美以来，希拉里的人生创造了很多“第一”，第一位沃尔玛公司女性董事，第一位竞选美国总统的前第一夫人，史上“最勤劳”、出访国家总数“第一”的国务卿……如果她参选获胜，将成为美国第一位女总统，宣誓就职时她将近70岁。
民调显示，目前所有上述民主党潜在候选人的支持率都远远落后于希拉里，高达81%的民主党选民表示对希拉里抱有好感。

SWPU Held 39th Spring Track and Field Sports Meeting
SWPU held the 39th Spring Track and Field Sports Meeting on April.10th and 11th.
President Zhao Jinzhou attended the opening ceremony and addressed the opening speech. He said that, “in order to implement the policy of deepening physical education reform issued by the Communist Party and the state, SWPU has made it clearly in the reform plan to promote the teaching reform vigorously in public basic courses such as the physical education, the college English, the ideological and political theory courses and so forth, to combine physical education with the moral education, the intellectual education and the aesthetic education to form an integrated talents cultivation project and at the same time to increase students’ extracurricular physical exercise and encourage the teaching and administrative staff to take part in the teams and clubs.
The most eye-catching scene in this sports meeting was when thousands of teachers and students were doing the Ninth Set of Broadcasting Gymnastics on the playground, their bright-colored dresses and orderly movements invigorated every motor cell of the audience. All the sports events will be launched successively in the next two days, such as 50 meters’ relay race for the teaching staff, 100 meters’ race, 5000 meters’ long-distance race, the triple jump and so on.
After two days’ competition, the Deputy Secretary of SWPU Party Committee, Zhang Wenwei, awarded the winning delegations in the closing ceremony. Apart from the conventional awards, this sports meeting has also selected the Excellent Organizing Awards for the broadcasting gymnastics in the ceremony. The Institute of Civil Engineering and Architecture, the Institute of Computer and Science, and the Institute of Economics and Management have been awarded the first prize.

4月10—11日，红宝石官方网站hbs123举行第三十九届春季田径运动会。
校长赵金洲出席开幕式并致开幕词。赵金洲指出，为贯彻落实党和国家关于深化体育改革的重要精神，红宝石官方网站hbs123在改革决定中明确提出了“大力推进大学体育、大学英语、思想政治理论课等大面积公共基础课教学改革”，将体育教育计划同德育教育计划、智育教育计划、美育教育计划一并纳入人才培养方案，增加学生课外体育，推行体育俱乐部制，鼓励教职工“人人入队”。
本届运动会最吸引眼球的当属千余名师生同做第九套广播体操，鲜艳的服装、整齐的动作，唤醒了每个人身上的运动细胞。各比赛项目在两天的赛程中陆续展开,教职工50米迎面接力赛， 100米赛跑、5000米长跑，三级跳远……
经过两天的比拼，闭幕式上，校党委副书记张文卫为获奖单位代表颁了奖。
除了颁布常规奖项，本次运动会还评出开幕式广播体操优秀组织奖,土建院、计科院、经管院获得一等奖。

The Fifth Beijing International Film Festival Grandly Kicks off
In the evening of April 16th, 2015, the opening ceremony of the fifth Beijing International Film Festival curtained up massively at the Yanqi Lake Ecological Park in Beijing. Luc Besson, chairman of the judges of “Tiantan Prize” and the world-famous French film director, along with the other 7 judges including Chen Kexin and Zhou Xun attended the ceremony. More than 400 personages from the film industry, including Hollywood movie star Arnold Schwarzenegger and many Chinese well-known directors like Feng Xiaogang, showed up in the opening ceremony.
The theme of the festival is “Praise to the Light and Shadow”. During the ceremony, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s exciting speech sparked the audience to a climax. His new movies Sabotage and Terminator 5 will be released in mainland China soon. “This is an age of global economy and it is not enough to screen my movies only in England or France. China possesses a large movie market in the world, and it is an indispensable family member in the world film industry. Chinese movie fans are always full of passion. I hope that my films can enter Chinese market more and more”, said Schwarzenegger.
Luc Bseeon said: “Chinese movies and movie workers are very brilliant in my view. Before my coming to China, I had fallen in love with this mysterious land.”
The film festival is a rare but significant opportunity to promote Chinese film industry and to present its works to overseas audience. Chinese film industry will surely have a great jump after the festival.
第十五届北京国际电影节盛大开幕
2015年4月16日晚，第十五届北京国际电影节在北京雁栖湖生态展示区开幕。由天坛奖评委主席，法国著名导演吕克贝松领衔，包括陈可辛、周迅在内的7位评委出席。好莱坞影星阿诺德-施瓦辛格以及多名中国电影人士包括冯小刚等400多位嘉宾也参加了开幕式。
这次电影节以“礼赞光影”为主题，在开幕式中，施瓦辛格的富有激情的演说将气氛推向一个高潮。他的新电影《破坏者》和《终结者5》即将登陆中国。“这是一个全球经济的时代，我的电影如果只推向英法等国是远远不够的。中国拥有庞大的电影市场，是世界电影大家庭中不可缺少的一员，中国拥有富有激情的影迷，我希望以后我更多的电影可以与中国观众见面，”施瓦辛格说。
吕克贝松说:“在我心中，中国的电影和电影工作者是十分优秀的，在我去中国之前就已经爱上了这片神秘的大陆。”
这次电影节是中国电影事业发展和把中国电影推向世界大众的重大机会，中国电影事业必将会在本次电影节的影响下实现一次重大飞跃。

IS Announced 9.11 Tragedy Will be Replayed
On April 22nd, terrorist organization IS released a propaganda video named “We Will Burn out America”, and threatened to replay the 9.11 terrorist attack. The video warned that there would be no safe place left for Americans in this world.
Meanwhile, the annual report published on April 13rd by the United Nations announced that sexual violence has gradually become one of the strategic means of IS and Boko Haram Organization.
It was reported that in this 11-minute-long video, supporters of IS were asked to be armed and united, and to launch terrorist attacks against the USA. It was also claimed in the video that it was just an illusion to ensure the state security of America.
The scenes of American journalist James Foley and Jordanian pilot Kasasbeh being killed have been shown in the video, along with a series of terrorist attacks started by IS’s supporters, including the parliament shooting accident happened in Canada in October 2014 and the hacker’s break-in event in the American Central Command.
In September 2014, for the sake of striking the armed forces of IS, multinational military forces, led by the USA, launched an air raid to the so-called “Caliphate State” located at the edge of Iraq and Syria. Ever since that, some Islamic extremists started to spread anti-western videos constantly on the internet.

据悉，该视频时长11分钟，片中呼吁IS的支持者武装起来，向美国发起恐怖袭击。视频称，保护美国的国家安全是痴心妄想。
视频还展示了美国记者佛利（James Foley）和约旦飞行员卡萨斯贝被害的场景，以及一系列IS声称由其支持者发起的恐怖袭击，包括去年十月发生的加拿大国会枪击案，美国中央司令部黑客入侵事件。
2014年9月，为打击IS武装分子，以美国为首的多国军事部队向位于伊拉克和叙利亚边境所谓的“哈里发国”发起空袭。此后，一些伊斯兰极端分子不断在网络上散播反西方的视频。

A Training Session of Fire Safety Was Held by the Head Office of Logistics Service
On April 16th, a training session was held in A 308 of Ming Zhi Building by the head office of Logistics Service to raise the awareness and improve the precautionary skills of fire safety among the staff.
Wu Junsheng, the deputy manager of the head office of logistics service, first expounded the situation and trend of fire safety in the education institutions and organizations and then focused on the fire safety in our university. He mainly elaborated the key contents, parts and methods of fire safety. Mr. Wu specifically stressed we should pay attention to fire safety in dormitories, dining halls, kindergartens, supermarkets and kiosks and take precautions for possible accidents.
Zhao Yongqing, secretary of CPC, required that teachers and students learn and digest the contents and essence of the lecture and comprehensively grasp the common knowledge of fire safety. He also pointed out that all staff need to strengthen the awareness of fire safety because we can’t afford to take any risk, and that we need to keep on guard all the time because prevention of fire accidents always comes first.
后勤服务总公司开展消防安全培训
为进一步增强员工消防安全意识，提高员工消防安全防范技能，4 月 16 日 ，后勤服务总公司在明志楼A308举行了消防安全培训会。
后勤服务总公司副总经理吴俊生分析了全国教育系统消防安全形势、红宝石官方网站hbs123消防安全形势,着重讲解了消防安全的重点内容、部位和方法。吴俊生特别强调了加强学生宿舍、食堂、幼儿园、超市商铺等消防安全应该注意一些事项并采取防范措施。
党总支书记赵永清要求各师生要再认真学习，进一步消化讲座内容和实质，全面掌握消防安全基本常识。同时指出各职员要牢固树立消防安全意识，不得有任何麻痹大意思想，时刻敲响警钟，防患于未然。
