Recently, the results of the 2022 National English Competition for College Students (NECCS) were announced. 3 SWPU students won the Special Prize and 14 students won the First Prize.

The National English Competition for College Students is jointly sponsored by TEFL China and China English Language Education Association. It aims to promote the reform of college English teaching, stimulate the enthusiasm of students to learn English, and improve the ability of college students to use English in an integrated way.

There were 60,154 students in Sichuan Province participating in the competition, and 60 students obtained the Special Prize, 290 students the First Prize.

Before the competition, the School of Foreign Languages made a detailed plan to train the students in a systematic way so as to enhance their comprehensive ability of using English.
